Far from the administrative center of the island, it remains authentic in the art of living of its inhabitants and in its landscapes.

Our hotel is located in the commune of Taiarapu-West, an hour’s drive from Faaa International Airport. Upon your arrival at the airport, we will take you to the peninsula with local music to reach your haven of zenitude. We invite you to an authentic Polynesian experience through wellness activities and cultural discovery.

LEGEND AND MYTHS OF TAHITI ITI

The legends of the peninsula are still alive and allow the local population to keep a very strong traditional anchorage in the dance and ancestral medicinal practices. The concept of our hotel is directly inspired by this ancestral heritage and favors a return to the sources and the surrounding nature.

The Puunui Wellness Center is a balneotherapy and fitness center that is innovative and focused on self-balance.

We offer cure programs in a soothing, relaxing and timeless environment.

LE PUUNUI

A gourmet restaurant with 80 seats. Menus carefully prepared by our chefs in consultation with our nutritionists from the Puunui Wellness Center.

LE HOTUMAI

A bistronomic restaurant of 100 seats invites you to a culinary journey to discover typical products of the Polynesian tradition. Our restaurant will also offer world cuisine menus revisited with a local touch.

Our restaurants highlight local products and innovate with the concept “from garden to plate”. Open from 11:15 am to 9:30 pm, enjoy our dishes with Polynesian flavors in front of an exceptional view of Tahiti Nui in a magical universe of tranquility.

40 m² luxury rooms
Our 40 m² luxury rooms are equipped with a double bed and its private bathroom with a mountain view on the AOMA.
50 m² Luxury Suites
Our 50 m² Luxury Suites have a bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom, a separate living room and an outdoor terrace with a breathtaking view of Tahiti Nui.
Prestige Suites of 100 m²
Our 100 m² Prestige Suites have two bedrooms and private bathroom, a separate living room and an outdoor terrace with a breathtaking ocean and mountain view of the island of Tahiti Nui. They also have a hot water whirlpool bath.

All our accommodations have air conditioning, free WIFI, daily maid service, room service from 11:00 am. The reception is available 24 hours a day by telephone.

It organizes your reception at the Tahiti-Faa airport and takes you to Puunui hill with local music.

    You can book a rental car to discover the sites of the peninsula and its surroundings, our team can advise you according to your interests.

  • ATIMAONO INTERNATIONAL GOLF COURSE

    Located 30 kilometers from our hotel in the town of Papara, the Atimaono golf course has been completely renovated and is open 7 days a week. Approved by the French Golf Federation, it is an integral part of the "Tahiti International Open" welcoming participants from all walks of life. Whether you are a novice or an experienced golfer, we will take care of your transfers.

  • THE MYTHICAL WAVE OF TEAHUPOO

    Teahupoo is the place chosen for the Olympic surfing games organized by Paris in 2024. Located 11 km from our hotel, we offer boat trips to discover the spot of Teahupoo and the lagoon of the peninsula. Training session for experienced surfers or picnic on the lagoon for the curious, we adapt to your desire.

  • AVANUI RUM DISTILLERY

    Organic sugar cane is planted on more than 30 hectares of the Puunui estate. Their harvest allows the distillery to produce agricultural rum. Come and discover these installations and let yourself be intoxicated by a rum with the organic label.

  • AGRO ACTIVITIES

    The agricultural domain of Puunui Hotu Farm of more than 15 hectares located in the residences of Puunui opens its doors to you and you will be able, accompanied by a guide, to discover all the cultures carried out on the site as well as the garden of aromatic and medicinal plants traditionally used in French Polynesia.

The site of the peninsula offers multiple activities both on land and sea. Our activities office will organize your days according to your desires of discovery and adventure.

The hotel is closed for renovation work that will begin in 2023 for a scheduled opening on May 3, 2024.
